We are delighted to have you visit our church website.  It is my privilege to serve as the pastor of Mt. Pleasant General Baptist Church.  At Mt. Pleasant General Baptist Church we believe that God's word provides the only solid foundation on which to build your life.  Our desire is to help you and your family experience the joy and blessings of the Christian life.

Our heart-felt prayer is for people to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and become actively involved in a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church that cares for them and others.  We believe that what our nation and communities need is a return to old fashioned Christianity!  A religion that leaves you as it found you, is of no worth on earth or in eternity.  We make no apology for strong preaching, sound doctrine, and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and His word.  Here at Mt. Pleasant the truth will never be watered down.  Sin will be called sin, wrong will be called wrong and right will be called right.  Our ministries, from the nursery to the senior saints, is designed to teach the whole Bible to the entire family!
