Without Him

Scripture: Luke 12:16-21 KJV

20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

Have you ever actually thought about living a life without Him?

To live a life without God and Jesus with you at all times causes 3 things to happen:

1.) Your life is hopeless - Without God you have no hope in eternal life, no hope in the return of Jesus Christ and no hope in reuniting with loved ones. The life you have now on this earth would be all there is, with nothing to look forward to...

Ephesians 2:12 states...'That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world.

----Is your hope anchored in Jesus Christ?---

2.) Your life is helpless - John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye an do nothing.

Having the Holy Spirit in you gives you power, you are no longer helpless!

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

3.) You are on a one way trip to hell - In the parable of Lazarus and the rich man we have to consider which one was truly the rich man...the man with the earthly treasures or the child of God that was carried by angels into Abraham's bosom?

Power Point: Without Him you are nothing...

Without Him you have nothing...

Without Him you can do nothing...

But with God all things are possible!!!! God wants to be in your life at all times - He wants to give you HOPE when none seems possible - He wants to give you HELP when all looks lost and he wants angels to carry you into the realm of HEAVEN to live an eternal life!
