Scripture: Matthew 14: 13-21

13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.

16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.

17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.

18 He said, Bring them hither to me.

19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

20 And they did all eat, and were filled: they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

Lebron James and Phil Mickelson are the best in their respective sports, but have you ever thought of this...what would happen if you gave Lebron James a golf club or Phil Mickelson a basketball? They would no longer be the best in that sport. So remember this, it makes all the difference in the world as to 'who' you give things to...

So what are the things that we need to bring to Jesus?

1.) Bring your past - when God forgives us for whatever is in our past we need to let it go.

2.) Bring your problems - Christians all have problems, but we must remember that we have the ultimate problem solver.

3.) Bring your pain - some of us are hurting on the inside, we have scars and pains. The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy but God wants us to be full of love, life and joy. We must face our giants and God will take away the pain.

4.) Bring them to Jesus - 'them' being our children, our spouses, our love ones that are still living in sin.

Jesus said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

When you give it to the Lord, you place all your trust in Him. What is it that you need to give to the Lord? With men there are things that are impossible, but with God all things are possible!!!

May God bless you and restore your soul for the coming week.
